In September 2022, through partnership with Kentucky Housing Corporation, LifeSkills, Inc. began receiving grant funding for the Emergency Rental Assistance Program. The Emergency Rental Assistance Program (KyERA2-PP) funding’s purpose is to provide eligible households with rental and utility assistance to ensure the household becomes or remains stably housed, with a focus on serving households experiencing literal homelessness or households at risk of homelessness.
A Conflict-of-Interest waiver has been requested by LifeSkills, Inc. to enable the agency/program to provide funding assistance to a family member of an employee of the agency. The applicant’s family member does not exercise any responsibilities with the KyERA2-PP program or the Supported Housing Programs. The employee of the family member seeking assistance is also not in a position to participate with any decision making related to this program.
Review by the agency’s legal counsel determined that LifeSkills, Inc is not in violation of any Bowling Green or Warren County Kentucky City/County Ordinance, Rule or Regulation and not in violation of any Kentucky law pertaining to this matter.
